The Beskydy After Us

This motto belongs to the organization Salamandr, with whom we headed into the Beskydy hills for the third time this year to plant trees.

We see the Beskydy every day on our way to work. This time, we wanted to give something back to them.

That is why 18 volunteers from Hyundai MOBIS got involved in the restoration of local forests and together planted more than 1,000 oaks, which will help return the local landscape to its natural form in the coming years.

But it wasn't just about planting. Thanks to a representative of the Beskydy PLA, we learned more about what the original Beskydy virgin forest looked like and why caring for the local landscape is important for future generations as well.

To support this initiative, we also presented the Salamandr organization with a financial donation of CZK 200,000, which will help with further care for the Beskydy nature.

We thank all the colleagues who found the time and lent a helping hand.
